(odds from PointBet)
MVP winner
The obvious winner is Patrick Mahomes at +400, but the best value would be Dak Prescott at +1200. That's assuming the Cowboys go at least 10-6. Their defense is shaky, which means Prescott will be throwing early and often. He's also looking for a big contract and now has CeeDee Lamb to throw to along with Amari Cooper and the underrated Michael Gallup.
Defensive Rookie of the Year
The defensive rookie of the year is usually somebody that puts up stats. Last season, Nick Bosa won it with nine sacks. This year, Chase Young is the favorite at +250, but Jeff Okudah at +1600 is a great value. Marshon Lattimore won it a few years back with New Orleans in 2017. He's going to be a stud with Detroit, while Patrick Queen (+1000) of the Ravens, is going to make a lot of tackles and grab a few interceptions. He just won't get a lot of sacks as an inside linebacker.
Offensive Rookie of the Year
Joe Burrow is the favorite at +225, there are better values. One is Jonathan Taylor at +1100 for the Colts. He's a boom-or-bust guy, who is the most talented back but fumbling issues in college. Watch out for Jerry Jeudy at +1800 for Denver. He's the most polished wide receiver in the draft and will be able to play right away You can always say that about most receivers. There is usually an adjustment period. He's that good, but will be the second option after Courtland Sutton.
Defensive Player of the Year
Arizona outside linebacker Chandler Jones won it last season with 18 sacks and eight forced fumbles. He's the most consistent pass rusher in the game. He's amazingly the seventh favorite at +2000. He's had five straight seasons of 11 or more sacks. Derwin James is also +2000 and should have a dominant season if he can stay healthy.
Comeback Player of the Year
Best Value pick: A.J. Green (+1500). Green didn't play in 2019 and caught just 46 passes in 2018. Bore he started to break down, he was one of the best receivers in football from 2011 to 2017. Now, he'll be catching passes from a young, accurate passer in Joe Burrow. He also has some support in Tyler Boyd and rookie Tee Higgins from Clemson.
