2024 NFL Draft Props and Picks
The NFL Draft has finally arrived and will start on April 25 and end on April 27. There are many good prop bets you can use to try and earn a profit. This is a difficult draft to predict, but there are some potentially good values.
Let’s start with which positions teams will draft with their first picks.
New York Jets
Offensive Lineman +115
Analysis: Aaron Rodgers is 40 and coming off a serious injury. If the Jets have any chance to make the playoffs, they have to keep No. 12 upright. JC Latham from Alabama and Troy Fautanu from Washington our offensive tackles that they could land there at No. 10.
Buffalo Bills
Defensive Line/Edge +425
Analysis: Buffalo has a need at wide receiver with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis gone, but at 28 they aren’t getting Marvin Harrison Jr. Edge is also a major need and Marshawn Kneeland from Western Michigan. It’s worth the gamble because wide receiver is -280.
Cincinnati Bengals
Wide Receiver +700
Analysis: Yes, Cincy is favored to take an offensive lineman (-190), but the Tee Higgins situation could force a trade at some point because it’s tough to pay him and JaMarr Chase. Brian Thomas Jr. of LSU makes some sense here.
Baltimore Ravens
Cornerback +550
Analysis: Here is another team with offensive line help, but they also need a corner and Edge. This is not a team that drafts their biggest. CB Kool-Aid McKinstry makes the most sense if he’s around at 30.
Indianapolis Colts
Cornerback +110
Analysis: At 15, the Colts will have plenty of defensive options. Good corners should be available including Quinyon Mithcell from Toledo, Terrion Arnold from Alabama and Nate Wiggins from Clemson. The Colts needs to add more speed in their secondary.
Denver Broncos
Edge Rusher +200
Analysis: Denver just traded for Zach Wilson and traded Russell Wilson, so there’s a need for a quarterback whose last name is not Wilson. The problem for Denver is that at No. 12, most of the quarterbacks worth drafting high in the first round will be gone unless they trade up. Dallas Turner, an Edge from Alabama, makes more sense than reaching for a quarterback like Bo Nix.
Philadelphia Eagles
Offensive Lineman +140
Analysis: Jason Kelce retired and RT Lane Johnson is about to turn 34. Amarius Mims from Georgia, Tyler Guyton from Oklahoma, and J.C. Latham from Alabama would make some sense if they are around at 22.
Detroit Lions
Defensive Lineman/Edge +300
They might not need another Edge opposite of Aidan Hutchinson though Darius Robinson from Missouri would make sense if he’s around along with Chop Robinson of Penn State. There’s also a need for some interior D-line help and Jer’Zhan Newton from Illinois could be around along with Michael Hall Jr. from Ohio State.
Atlanta Falcons
Cornerback +195
The Falcons have a lot of needs and Edge -215 is just one. Quinyon Mitchell is a potential lockdown corner from Toledo and new head coach Raheem Morris played DB in college.
San Francisco 49ers
Edge/DL +425
The Nines are favored to draft an OL at 31 but they also need to replace Arik Armstead on the Dline. Darius Robinson fits the bill at 6-5, 285, as a versatile lineman. DT Jer’Zhan Newton (6-2, 295) from Illinois is another option at 31.
