The Danish side AGF responded to their elimination out of the Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 3 and avoided the third consecutive defeats with a 2-1 win over BLUEJAYS in the previous round of this tournament. AGF won five of the previous ten matches and has a 55.3% win rate over the last three months. In that period, AGF was unbeaten on Vertigo and was excellent on Nuke (83.3%), while they were not convincing enough on Mirage (25.0%).

Lilmix assembled this lineup in late May and so far they played nine matches and won just three of them. One of those wins came at the Nine to Five 2 Dawn against Orgles 5, but two losses to CR4ZY and Excellency were enough to knock the Swedes out of the tournament. However, they showed a bit of improvement as they won the opening map in each of those losses. Recently, Mirage (75.0%) proved to be Lilmix’s favorite map, while they are winless on Vertigo, Overpass, and Nuke.

Lilmix improved lately and they are not easy to beat anymore, and I am backing them to cause problems to the favored AGF in this one. AGF’s last two games produced a maximum of three maps, while that was the case in three of Lilmix’s previous four matches, so I expect to see another tight battle, unlike the oddsmakers, who are clearly favoring the Danes. Lilmix is starting the matches well recently, and the opening map will be their chance.
