BIG vs. OG Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 6/27
BIG and OG face each other in the winners’ bracket of Group D in the cs_summit 6 online CS:GO tournament. The cs_summit 6 is a Regional Major Ranking tournament. Teams can earn RMR points with a good placement at this tournament. Valve will use these RMR points to decide the final list of invitations to the ESL One Rio Major in November.
BIG Preview
The 8th ranked BIG has climbed nearly twelve places in the rankings in the past few weeks. Their victory at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe after a reverse sweep against G2 esports was an eye-opener for CS:GO fans. BIG has always had a strong presence in top tier Counter-Strike. However, after some questionable roster decisions in 2019, the team went in a slump.
TiziaN and tabseN are crucial to BIG’s success story. The German duo has been with the organization for a long time and has regularly contributed with their firepower. Strategy has never been a weak point for BIG as they have a lot of experience in their coaching lines. They also have Gob B, who can help them from time to time, although he has taken on a management role.
The players have been very active in the past three months. Despite having over fifteen games on Dust2, Inferno and Nuke, BIG has maintained a win-rate of over 75% on each map. The team also has a 73% win-rate on Vertigo, a recent addition to its map pool.
With a 1.24 rating, syrsoN has emerged as another power-hitter in the BIG roster. The player had an 83.4 ADR against FaZe and was responsible for its dominant performance in its opening match of the tournament.
OG Preview
Compared to BIG, OG is still relatively new. The organization entered CS:GO in late 2019 and picked up a roster that seemed too focused on strategy and tactics to many fans. However, they recently made a change when they added mantuu to the team. Mantuu brings additional firepower and he acts as a great support to ISSAA.
Despite being so strategically focused as a team, OG relies on its star players' individual firepower to pull ahead on some of its maps. Dust 2 is one of the best maps for the team. ISSAA's success on this map is crucial to the teams’ performance. So far, he has not disappointed.
Pick: BIG Spread -1.5 Maps (-120 @ Bovada)
BIG is in excellent form and seems to have picked up its form from the DreamHack Masters Spring Finals. I am going with BIG to win this match and move to the playoffs of the cs_summit 6.
