April 16 (before 4:15pmET)
F Theo Akwuba (6-11, 220). Former school: Portland (4ppg, 3.5rpg). New school: Louisiana.
Comments: Akwuba has good size and well, not much else. He started 26 games in his freshman season and none last year. At least he has two years left.
F Warith Alatishe (6-7, 200). Former school: Nicholls State (10.9ppg, 8.3rpg). New school: Oregon State.
Comments: Strong rebounding forward who has two years left. aking a big jump though to a Power Five school.
F Christian Anigwe (6-9, 215). Former school: San Jose State (5.2ppg, 5.3rpg). New school: ?
Comments: Solid big man who started all but one game last season. Good rebounder who will have two seasons left, but will likely have to sit out.
G Jacob Boonyasith (6-3, 215). Former school: American (7.7ppg, 45.6% FG). New school: UMBC.
Comments: Pretty good player who shot 36.6% from beyond the arc and started 22 games in the Patriot League. Played two seasons, so he'll have two left.
G David DeJulius (6-0, 180). Former school: Michigan (7ppg, 36.1% 3pt). New school: Cincinnati.
Comments: It hasn't been a good few days for Juwan Howard and Michigan. DeJulius was not a star, but a quality bench player who will have two seasons left.
G Jaylen Forbes (6-4, 186). Former school: Alabama (2.7ppg). New school: ?
Comments: Didn't play much in his first season at Alabama, averaging just 10.4 minutes per game. Will have three seasons left.
F Sam Green (6-6, 230). Former school: Drexel (5.2ppg, 38% 3pt). New school: Howard.
Comments: Grad student who has some skills and decent size. Also not a bad three-point shooter.
G Quan Jackson (6-4, 180). Former school: Georgia Southern (13.6ppg, 4.5rpg). New school: UAB
Comments: Good player, though not the most efficient shooter at Georgia Southern. He'll be eligible right away, but UAB does return last season's backcourt, so he's either going to be the third guard or first guard off the bench.
G Dontrell Shuler (6-2, 180). Former school: Charleston Southern (17.9ppg, 30.8% 3pt). New school: Mid Tenn State.
Comments: Good pick up for the Blue Raiders. Not the greatest three-point shooter, but did improve from his first season. Will have two years left.
C Russel Tchewa (7-0, 260). Former school: Texas Tech (1.7ppg). New school: ?
Comments: Another big dude who has played sparingly. Tchewa started just one game last year and averaged 5.1 minutes per game. Maybe he'll be more effective at a lower level with three years left.
G Isaiah Wilkins (6-4, 225). Former school: Virginia Tech (4.3ppg). New school: Wake Forest.
Comments: Big guard who is transferring to another ACC school. Shot 40.7% from beyond the arc as a freshman and just 28.4% as a sophomore. Has two seasons left, but since he grew up in Winston-Salem, maybe he'll get a waiver for going back home.
