Complexity Team Preview
HLTV Rank: 9th
When Jason Lake announced that he will be building a juggernaut team in 2019, CS:GO fans expected a star-studded CS:GO roster. Instead, they got a roster that comprised many young and unaccomplished faces. Over the next few months, this roster has emerged as a top ten team towering over other more popular names.
Complexity’s strength comes from its young firepower coupled with the excellent leadership of blameF. Despite being the in-game leader, blameF has regularly topped the Complexity scoreboard and put up impressive results on a regular basis.
Dust2, Nuke, Vertigo, and Mirage are the best maps for Complexity. The team has a 92% win-rate on Dust2 while it has an 88% win-rate on Nuke. BlameF leads the team’s statistics with a 1.29 rating on HLTV. He deals an average of 85.1 damage per round. Complexity has defeated opponents like OG and forZe in its latest matchups.
Heroic Team Preview
HLTV Rank: 19th
Heroic has a Danish CS:GO roster and has put up some impressive results lately. The team is ranked 19th in the world and is very strong on Mirage, Inferno, Nuke, and Train.
The team has a very CT heavy presence, mostly resulting from the players’ quick rotations and trading capabilities. Heroic has had mixed results lately with wins over Endpoint, Fnatic, and MAD Lions. However, the team also lost its matches to BIG and OG.
With a 1.16 rating, stavn is the best player on the team. The youngster regularly steps up for the team and has a very aggressive T side stance on certain maps.
Pick: Complexity (-190 @ Betway)
Complexity and Heroic matchup will be a battle of the two in-game leaders. CadiaN has years of experience over blameF, but the young Complexity player has shown that he is willing to adapt and work hard to produce results. He has single-handedly taken on the responsibility of this team to leapfrog Complexity into the top ten ranks. Complexity defeated Heroic 2-0 in their last head-to-head match. I am taking Complexity to win its opening match against Heroic.
