Endpoint Preview
Endpoint is ranked 42nd in the world and comprises a UK lineup with some additions. The team has lost all five of its latest matches and has not been a competitor for most of the other teams in the scene. Endpoint’s poor performance is partly due to the lack of adequate firepower on the team. While Endpoint focuses heavily on improving its strategic gameplay, the team could do with better firepower and form on its players.
Endpoint’s performance relies on its extensive map pool. The Team is very strong on Overpass, Vertigo and Inferno; three maps where the the players can leverage a strong T side to their advantage. However, Endpoint has also played a lot of matches on Train and Dust2 and the players are very comfortable playing on these maps.
MAD Lions Preview
MAD Lions recently underwent a roster change. The team parted ways with Bubzkji. The young player is a rising superstar in the Danish region and has produced some quality Counter-Strike in the past few months. In fact, he is one of the key reasons for MAD Lions’ improvement as a team and the jump in their rankings.
In order to present a complete CS:GO roster, MAD Lions added innocent to the team. He is a Polish player while the rest of MAD Lions is Danish. The different languages and cultural barrier is bound to impact the team’s chemistry. The reduced coordination will affect the team’s chances in this tournament.
The team is very strong on Nuke and Mirage, but we don;t know how the new roster will fare on these maps. MAD Lions’ performance has improved tremendously over the past few months, but the new player’s addition is a huge change to the team’s chemisty. With a 1.14 rating, acoR is the best player on the team.
Pick: Map 1 Mad Lions Handicap -2.5 Rounds (-122 @ Pinnacle)
Despite its recent roster change, MAD Lions still has player in excellent form. The team has the experience of playing against Tier-1 teams on most maps and will use this knowledge to its advantage. I am taking MAD Lions to win a -2.5 handicap bet on Map 1.
