EXTREMUM vs. HONORIS, Preview & Prediction - Free 2/1 CS:GO
EXTREMUM is an absolute favorite in this Best of 3 encounter when they take on HONORIS in the Swiss round 1 of Snow Sweet Snow 1 on Monday. Even though they have been away from the CS:GO circus for so long, EXTREMUM remained among the top 30 teams in the rankings and are one of the favorites to win this tournament.
EXTREMUM Team Stats and Latest Results
EXTREMUM hasn't played a single CS:GO game since August last year and a 2-0 loss to SG.pro at the ESEA Summer Cash Cup 2 Europe. It’s interesting that their previous participation at the tournament was at the WESG 2019 Russia Closed Qualifier in February 2020. Even though they changed the lineup since - it’s worth mentioning they lost each of the last five matches.
Given they didn’t play for such a long time, it’s not vital to mention how EXTREMUM played on certain maps, as they will appear with a completely new team here. At the moment, the lineup is made of BnTeT (1.13 rating), AZR (0.00), jkaem (1.18), Gratisfaction (0.00), and Liazz (0.00).
HONORIS Team Stats and Latest Results
HONORIS ended 2020 with a 2-1 loss to Case at the Esport Tour Pro Winter 2020 but opened the new year with a 2-1 victory over Pompa at the Snow Sweet Snow 1 Regionals. They secured a place at this tournament thanks to victories over SG.pro, Lilmix, and Tricked. HONORIS lost eight of the previous 15 games.
In the previous three months, HONORIS played very well on Mirage (75.0% win rate) and was above average on Nuke (55.6%), while they didn’t taste a victory on Dust2 (played twice) and disappointed on Inferno (16.7%). Since December 2020, HONORIS is playing with the same lineup that appeared on 35 maps with a record of 16 wins and 19 losses. The team members are TaZ (0.90), NEO (0.93), reiko (1.14), azizz (1.07), and Grucha (0.99).

It will be the first-ever meeting between these two teams.
EXTREMUM vs. HONORIS Betting Preview
I don’t understand why the bookmakers are giving such low odds on EXTREMUM to win. Their five team members have never played alongside each other, and I seriously doubt they will win, let alone destroy HONORIS and cover a -1.5 handicap. I would avoid this game at all, if I were you, it’s something very suspicious about this one. Still, I have to make my pick, and it’s going to be HONORIS to cover a +1.5 handicap at fantastic odds. I don’t see why they couldn’t win a map against the team that never played together.
The Pick: HONORIS +1.5 (+177 @GG.BET)
