FATE Team Stats and Latest Results
FATE (#45 World Ranking) suffered elimination out of the Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 4 following a couple of defeats to LDLC, but they bounced back with wins over Izako Boars and SJ at this tournament. They dropped just nine rounds in a win over Izako Boars. FATE recorded eight wins in the previous 11 matches and has a 58.0% win rate over the last three months. In that span, FATE displayed excellent performances on Train (70.4%) and played well on Dust2 (61.9%), while they failed to get a victory on Nuke and were below average on Inferno (38.5%). FATE’s current lineup consists of niki1 (0.92 Rating), blocker (1.02), mar (1.09), Patrick (1.01), and h4rn (1.10). This lineup played together on 92 maps since June 2020 and has a record of 51 wins and 41 losses.
AGF Team Stats and Latest Results
AGF ended their participation at the Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 4 after two losses to HellRaisers and CR4ZY but responded well with three wins over BLUEJAYS, Lilmix, and Berzerk. In the latest win over Berzerk, they dropped only 11 rounds, and they won each of the last four maps. AGF has six wins in the previous nine matches and has a 57.5% win rate in the last three months. During that period, AGF is unbeaten on Vertigo and was excellent on Nuke (83.3%), while they didn’t perform well on Mirage (25.0%). AGF’s current lineup consists of netrick (0.89 Rating), Lukki (1.03), Kristou (0.95), fr0slev (1.13), and TMB (1.12). This lineup played together on 21 maps since July 2020 and has a record of ten wins and 11 losses.
FATE vs. AGF H2H Record
These rivals have met once before, and FATE won that match 2-0 at the Home Sweet Home Cup 7 Closed Qualifier, allowing only 15 rounds in the process.
FATE vs. AGF Betting Preview
Even though FATE was convincing in the only H2H tilt with a big win, the bookies don’t think it’s going to be that easy this time around, which is also the case with me, as I expect AGF to show way more resistance here. The Bulgarians have a bit more experience when it comes to the lineup and certainly have an edge in this one, but I wouldn’t recommend betting on the winner; after all, it’s a Grand final and could go either way. Three of AGF’s last four matches produced a maximum of three maps, and although that wasn’t the situation with FATE, who usually decided games in straight maps, I am going with Over 2.5 maps here. Both teams are playing well recently and I cannot separate them at the moment.
