Sadly, the end of Week 3 in the LEC is almost upon us. Today's card will be the last slate from the League of Legends European Chamionship until Friday, but at least it will be an action-packed one. As is customary of the league, there's a five-game slate ahead and I'm here to break it all down for you.

SK Gaming (-160) vs. Team Vitality (+120)

The line of the opening contest of the day is somewhat odd in my opinion. SK Gaming (4-2) is taking on Team Vitality (2-4). It's worth noting that both teams have a win over defending Summer Season champion G2 Esports, and they have both faced a pretty tough schedule. I can't picture Team Vitality winning this contest as SK Gaming, although they are not exactly a top team in the LEC, should find themselves in the playoffs. I'm taking SK's spread in this one to cut back on the juice a little bit.

Pick: SK Gaming Spread -4.5 Kills (-160)

Misfits Gaming (-190) vs. Excel Esports (+135)

The second bout of the day will be between Misfits Gaming (3-3)and Excel Esports (2-4). I've mentioned before that I like the Bot Lane-Support combo of Kobbe and Doss from Misfits, and it appears as though the team has built some chemistry as they have won two straight. Excel will be one of the cellar teams in the Summer Season of the LEC, and I have a very good feeling that this one will be one-sided. There's only one way I see fitting to play this match, and that is with Misfits on the spread.

Pick: Misfits Gaming Spread -5.5 Kills (-115)

Origen (-500) vs. FC Schalke 04 (+325)

I don't feel as though I need to spend much time on the third battle of the slate. Origen (3-3) is laying a ton of juice, and with great reason against the horrid FC Schalke 04 (0-6). I am thoroughly surprised that FC Schalke 04 hasn't at least picked up a win this spilt, but they definitely won't get one here. FC Schalke 04 only averages 4.3 kills per game so far this split, and Origen averages 11.2 kills a game despite a .500 record. This one is going to be a bloodbath.

Pick: Origen Spread -7.5 Kills (-135)

MAD Lions (-130) vs. Rogue (-105)

In all honesty, this will probably be the closest contest of the day. This one will see a pair of 5-1 teams do battle, and the winner of this match will be the sole leader of the LEC Summer Season standings. This bout is odd as MAD Lions has been slightly better statistically as a team, but Rogue's players have the higher KDA. One can assume that this matchup will feature a lot of good team fighting, and I personally want nothing to do with trying to pick an outright winner. Instead, I am going to look to the over on the total kills. I am expecting this one to be a back-and-forth affair as neither of these teams will want to lose.

Pick: Over 23.5 Total Kills (-115)

G2 Esports (-195) vs. Fnatic (+140)

The closing bout of the slate should also be a fairly even match between a pair of underperformers sitting with 3-3 records. G2 Esports was the Spring Season champion, and Fnatic was the second-place finisher. I wouldn't necessarily say that these teams have gotten worse, rather than some of the other teams in the LEC have caught up in terms of talent. G2 Esports has won the last seven meetings between these two teams, and Fnatic's last win against them was in June of 2019. It's clear that G2 Esports is the better team here despite similar results this year. I'm going to ride the strong trend in this battle.

Pick: G2 Esports Spread -4.5 Kills (-125)
