FURIA vs. TeamOne Preview & Prediction - Free CS:GO Betting Picks 8/12

FURIA and TeamOne will face each other in the DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Online. The DreamHack Open North America has eight teams competing for a $90,000 prize pool. The tournament has a double-elimination GSL format group stage with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. The winner receives $35,000 and 100 ESL Pro Tour points.

FURIA Preview

FURIA is one of the best North American CS:GO teams and was a contender for the best NA team title before the pandemic. The team’s unique playstyle and the superior firepower compared to most of the other North American teams gives the players an added advantage in their games.

With a 1.17 rating, yuurih has been the best player on the squad. However, over the course of the past few months, we have seen player slike arT, KSCERATO and HEN1 also step up to occasion. Despite being the in-game leader, arT is not afraid to take the initiative. He has one of the highest statistics for most entry frags in the game. With over 50% entry frags the player’s positioning and timing gives him an advantage against opponents.

TeamOne Preview

TeamOne is ranked 55th in the world and the team has had mixed results lately. Some of its recent results include losses to Ze Pug Godz, Positive Vibes Only and Triumph. The team has defeated Cloud9 twice in the past few weeks.

While TeamOne is a strong team, the lack of firepower on the roster is a big problem for the squad. They are often unable to match up to the stronger opponents in their matches and fall short repeatedly.

TeamOne is very strong on Dust2 and Train. The players use their superior firepower on Dust2 to their advantage. However, on Train, TeamOne has a strong CT side presence and the impenetrable B Site defence is a huge advantage for the squad.

With a 1.14 rating, b4rtiN is the best player on the team. He deals an average of 78 damage per round and most of his kills are impact frags.

Pick: FURIA -2.5 Handicap (-213 @ Pinnacle)

I am taking FURIA to win against TeamOne with a -1.5 handicap. FURIA is on a different level compared to their South American counterparts and should not have any problems in winning this match. The rank difference between the two teams highlights the difference in skill and strategical depth to their gameplay.
