G2 and GODSENT will face each other in the winners’ match of Group A at the cs_summit 6. The cs_summit 6 is a sixteen team Regional Major Ranking tournament featuring the best European CS:GO teams. The cs_summit 6 has a $125,000 prize pool. More importantly, the tournament grants Regional Major Ranking points which contribute to a team’s chances of securing an invitation to the ESL One Rio Major in November.

G2 Preview

G2’s CS:GO team reached the top of the rankings after some strong individual performances by its players. G2 lost to BIG in the grand finals of the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 tournament. However, the team’s dominance en route to the grand finals is a sign of hope for the French CS:GO fans.

G2’s CS:GO roster comprises a mixture of French players. Their latest additions to the team are nexa and huNter-. The Serbian duo has helped the team improve its firepower and strategic approach to the game. While huNter- constantly puts up big numbers for G2, nexa’s leadership has finetuned a lot of G2’s results over the past few months. Overall, the international roster has been a roaring success and the veteran players can thank the management for taking the right decision.

G2’s map pool includes Vertigo, Nuke and Train as its strongest choices. However, the team has not been as dominant on the map and has struggled to find consistency, even against lower-tier opponents. But with kennyS and Hunter in excellent form, CS:GO fans can expect G2 to come up with a strong performance against their opponents for this match.

GODSENT Preview

GODSENT’s CS:GO roster is a mixed International squad with several popular players. Many of these players have competed on top international teams in the past and have produced impressive results.

However, in its current form, GODSENThas been very inconsistent. One day they will take down teams like Mousesports, but follow it up with a surprise upset loss against a lower tier roster in the next.

The team also recently underwent a roster change when it added farlig to the lineup. The young Danish player has a 1.11 rating and his explosive play style lends well to the rest of the squad. With just one month’s practice with the team and no LAN experience with them, farlig still has some ways to cover before integrating fully with the team.

Pick: G2 Spread -1.5 Maps (+100 @ Bovada)

I am going with G2 for this match. The team has more experience and is the best team in the world right now. GODSENT is an up and coming team, but G2 will dominate this one.
