Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 13)
Who is the class of the NFC? Is it the Niners or the Eagles? We may find out more this week in Philadelphia. In the AFC, can anyone keep up with the Chiefs? This week may give us some answers. Take a look at the NFL Gridiron Great Top 11 for this week.
Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 13)
#11. Pittsburgh Steelers 7-5 (+3500/+7500) - The Steelers failed to keep pace in the division with a loss this past week to the Cardinals. They have a good bounce-back opportunity this week against the woeful Patriots. Last Week’s Rank: 9th
#10. Indianapolis Colts 7-5 (+3500/+7500) - Does anyone realize that the Colts are on a four-game winning streak? How is Shane Steichen not the favorite for Coach of the Year? Consistently winning with a rookie quarterback first and now the veteran backup Gardner Minshew. Last Week’s Rank: Unranked
#9. Jacksonville Jaguars 8-4 (+1000/+2000) - A tough loss on Monday night turned horrific with the injury sustained by Trevor Lawrence. He’ll need to heal quickly or this team is a one-and-done playoff team. Last Week’s Rank: 8th
#8. Buffalo Bills 6-6 (+2500/+5000) - The Bills benefitted from other team’s losses on their bye week. This team is more dangerous than any of the remaining three teams should they get in the playoffs. Last Week’s Rank: 11th
#7. Detroit Lions 9-3 (+750/+1400) - The Lions nearly coughed up a big lead on Sunday but were able to finish the job. A win over the Bears this week will tighten their grip on the NFC North Division. Last Week’s Rank: 8th
#6. Baltimore Ravens 9-3 (+290/+800) - Keep an eye on that Ravens’ defense, they have been giving up quite a bit of rushing yards over the last few weeks. Last Week’s Rank: 6th
#5. Kansas City Chiefs 9-3 (+260/+650) - The Chiefs WR group has been mediocre at best this season and Mahomes hasn’t been perfect. They look vulnerable. Last Week’s Rank: 3rd
#4. Dallas Cowboys 9-3 (+380/+900) - The Cowboys’ home dominance will be tested this week by visiting Philadelphia. A win and they’re atop the division. Last Week’s Rank: 4th
#3. Miami Dolphins 9-3 (+260/+650) - The Chiefs’ loss puts the Dolphins in prime position to possibly earn home field in the AFC by winning out and catching a break or two. Last Week’s Rank: 5th
#2. Philadelphia Eagles 10-2 (+250/+550) - The Eagles do not have any breaks on the horizon as they get set to take on Dallas this week on the road. Last Week’s Rank: 1st
#1. SF 49ers 9-3 (+150/+310) - The Niners throttled the Eagles on the road last week and now look like the clear NFC favorite. Last Week’s Rank: 2nd
Upset Alert for Week 13: We are now 10-7 in our upset specials on the season after Arizona discarded Pittsburgh on the road last week. Can we make it two weeks in a row with upset winners?
#1. Houston at New York Jets (+6.5): The Texans are the better team here, mainly due to their ability to put points on the board. Still, I think this line is too high for the upstart team. Stroud has been excellent but is a near-touchdown favorite on the road for a team this young and inexperienced? I think the Jets will perform better and cover this line.
