Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 15)

A holiday weekend full of football excitement with just three weeks left in the season. Are the Niners the clear-cut favorite now to take it all? Can the Chiefs make a play for another Super Bowl? Take a look at the NFL Gridiron Great Top 11 for this week.

Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 15)

#11. Indianapolis Colts 8-6 (+4500/+10,000) - The Colts just keep on finding ways to win and still have a good shot at catching the Jags for the AFC South title, which would assure them of a home game in the playoffs. Last Week’s Rank: 11th

#10. Jacksonville Jaguars 8-6 (+1300/+3000) - The loss WR Kirk has really slowed this offense and this team does not look like the threat they were just three weeks ago. Last Week’s Rank: 8th

#9. Cleveland Browns 8-5 (+2200/+5500) - After shelling out what is starting to look like a historically bad guaranteed deal to DeShaun Watson, here are the Browns winning and looking playoff-ready with Joe Flacco at quarterback and a bruising defense. Last Week’s Rank: 10th

#8. Buffalo Bills 8-6 (+650/+1200) - The Bills will likely need to win out and, if they do, this is the one team that can win at Baltimore, at Miami, or at Kansas City. Last Week’s Rank: 10th

#7. Detroit Lions 10-4 (+850/+2000) -The Lions bounced back with a convincing win over the Broncos this week. This team does have the right playoff formula for success with a great ground attack. Can they limit turnovers in big games? Last Week’s Rank: 7th

#6. Philadelphia Eagles 10-4 (+400/+850) - The Eagles appeared to be sleepwalking through their game in Seattle this week and have now lost three-straight. The Giants have played better as of late so the Eagles will need to be ready. Last Week’s Rank: 3rd

#5. Kansas City Chiefs 10-4 (+300/+700) - A light finish for the Chiefs could net them the #1 seed yet again in the AFC Playoffs. As it stands, Patrick Mahomes has yet to play a road game in the playoffs in his career. Last Week’s Rank: 5th

#4. Dallas Cowboys 10-4 (+450/+950) - It is going to be put up or shut up time for the Cowboys this week as they get set to travel to Miami. The Cowboys’ Super Bowl hopes will dwindle if they lose another critical road game. Last Week’s Rank: 2nd

#3. Miami Dolphins 10-4 (+370/+850) - The Phins bounced back with a 30-0 blanking of the Jets this week but they have a huge battle against the Cowboys this week with a chance to tie the Ravens for the top spot in the conference. Last Week’s Rank: 6th

#2. Baltimore Ravens 11-3 (+210/+550) - The Ravens will get a chance to test their mettle over the final three weeks including games against the 49ers this week and then the Dolphins. Last Week’s Rank: 4th

#1. SF 49ers 11-3 (-110/+200) - The Niners are now a heavy favorite to claim the NFC title this season and its no wonder. They have arguably the two favorites for NFL MVP with Christian McCaffrey and Josh Purdy having outstanding seasons. Last Week’s Rank: 1st

Upset Alert for Week 15: We fell to 11-8 after the Broncos came up empty in Detroit this week. Let’s get back in the win column with just three weeks to go in the season.

#1. Indianapolis (+1.5) at Atlanta: The Colts have been an excellent road team this season and I’m having a hard time trusting a Falcons team that is switching quarterbacks yet again. As an added bonus, I also like another mild underdog, the Dallas Cowboys (+1.5), to bounce back in a big way against the Miami Dolphins on the road.
