LDLC vs. K23, Preview & Prediction - Free 10/21 CS:GO

We have no favorites in the Upper bracket Play In a matchup between LDLC and K23 as both teams are trying to get the win and advance to the playoffs at the REPUBLEAGUE TIPOS Season 2. The loser will get another chance to make it through the Lower bracket.

LDLC Team Stats and Latest Results

LDLC successfully went through the group stage of this tournament after defeating ECLOT from behind and then MIBR, allowing just 12 rounds in the latter one. They didn’t play well at the ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe, though, losing to DBL PONEY and BLINK, while the lone win against Sprout wasn’t enough to secure them more than $2,500.

Nuke (72.3% win rate) is undoubtedly LDLC’s favorite map in the previous three months, but they have to improve on Vertigo (22.2%) and Ancient (33.3%). For the last 79 maps, LDLC is playing with the same lineup and that will not change on Thursday. Coach Steeve 'Ozstrik3r' Flavigni can count on SIXER (1.02 rating), Lambert (0.84), hAdji (1.19), Maka (1.13), and Keoz (1.04).

K23 Team Stats and Latest Results

K23 lost the first game at the REPUBLEAGUE TIPOS Season 2 to Enterprise but reached the Play In thanks to wins against Izako Boars and Singularity. In the meantime, they played very well at the IEM Winter 2021 Europe Closed Qualifier, but after losing the last two matches to MOUZ and ENCE, they failed to qualify for the main event.

When it comes to the maps in the previous three months, K23 was excellent on Mirage (75.0%) and decent on Ancient (57.1%), while they weren’t good enough on Nuke (36.8%) and Dust2 (40.0%). Coach Aset 'Solaar' Sembiyev has two players who haven’t played a ton of games in the past few months. xsepower (1.10) and X5G7V (1.05) appeared on 25 and 27 maps, respectively, but neaLaN (0.97), n0rb3r7 (1.09), and fame (1.08) remain the coach’s go-to guys.

LDLC vs. K23 H2H Record

These rivals have met only once before, and K23 won that clash at the Spring Sweet Spring 1 Regionals back in April this year.

LDLC vs. K23 Betting Preview

Even though the loser of this clash will continue its participation at this tournament, I don’t think the team will calculate on Thursday and will go all in. That being said, neither will want to lose and play an extra match, so I expect to see a big battle and a maximum of three maps. Don’t bet on the winner – just enjoy the game and make the profit on Over 2.5 maps.

The Pick: Over 2.5 maps (-104 @GGBET)
