MLS Has Suspended all Action For 30 Days
Major League Soccer was waiting to make a decision Thursday, March 12th in the morning and then eventually, later in the day they decided to suspend the season for 30 days. On March Wednesday evening, Mr. Trump issued a travel ban from Europe and that will make it hard for the league to sign European-based players before the May transfer deadline.

“Our clubs were united in the decision to temporarily suspend our season – based on the advice and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), and other public health authorities, and in the best interest of our fans, players, officials, and employees,” said MLS Commissioner Don Garber. “We’d like to thank our fans for their continued support during this challenging time.”
