NFL Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 16)

Things have gotten interesting at the top of the Gridiron Greats standings after the Ravens’ big road win and the Chiefs’ stunning loss to the Raiders. Take a look at the NFL Gridiron Great Top 11 for this week.

Gridiron Great Top 11 (Week 16)

#11. Jacksonville Jaguars 8-7 (+1700/+3500) - The Jags are heading in the wrong direction as the playoffs approach. Can they recover in time to earn a spot? Last Week’s Rank: 10th

#10. Tampa Bay Bucs 8-7 (+3500/+6500) - Baker Mayfield has found his groove in Tampa Bay and has the Bucs on the verge of a division title. Last Week’s Rank: Unranked

#9. Cleveland Browns 10-5 (+1700/+4500) - What a difference a Flacco can make. QB Flacco has made the Browns’ receivers relevant again and has worked out well paired with the Browns’ defense. Last Week’s Rank: 9th

#8. Buffalo Bills 9-6 (+550/+1200) - The Bills rebounded nicely in the second half to take out the Chargers. They close out the season with the Patriots at home and then at Miami. They remain the most dangerous team on any given day in the league. Last Week’s Rank: 8th

#7. Dallas Cowboys 10-5 (+450/+1000) - If only the playoffs were exclusively played in Dallas. This team needs to learn to win on the road or they will be out early in the playoffs. Last Week’s Rank: 4th

#6. Kansas City Chiefs 10-5 (+350/+800) - A light finish got heavier with a loss to the Raiders last week. The Chiefs will likely still win the AFC West but they need to get their offense going. Last Week’s Rank: 5th

#5. Detroit Lions 11-4 (+700/+1700) - The Lions clinched the NFC North and still are in contention for the #1 seed with two weeks left in the season. Last Week’s Rank: 7th

#4. Philadelphia Eagles 10-4 (+380/+800) - The Eagles are playoff-bound and still have a very good chance of winning the NFC East with two winnable games to close the season. Last Week’s Rank: 6th

#3. Miami Dolphins 11-4 (+330/+750) - Miami’s rough road to winning the AFC East got a bit easier after beating Dallas to stay two games ahead of the Bills. Miami does have to contend with the Ravens this week and, if they lose, they could be playing for the AFC East title against the Bills next week. Last Week’s Rank: 3rd

#2. SF 49ers 11-4 (+100/+225) - The Niners lost to the Ravens but it didn’t hurt them in the NFC standings as they remain the favorites for the #1 spot. Last Week’s Rank: 1st

#1. Baltimore Ravens 12-3 (+200/+350) - The Ravens came in angry and left winners against SF on Christmas night. They are now the clear-cut favorite to earn the top seed in the AFC. Last Week’s Rank: 2nd

Upset Alert for Week 16: We are now 11-9 in our upset specials after last week’s Colts effort against Atlanta.

#1. New York Jets (+7.5) at Cleveland: The Jets take on a banged-up Cleveland team in a short week on Thursday night. I like the Browns to win but this game will be tight against a Jets team with absolutely nothing to lose.
