UFC 270: Ngannou vs Gane - Card Preview - 01/22/22
We are kicking off our first UFC PPV of 2022 in Anaheim, California this Saturday! This one has two belts on the line and promises to be a good one. The main event is headlined by former heavyweight training partners, Francis Ngannou and Cyril Gane. One is known for having the scariest knockout power in all of MMA and the other is a striking technician. If you follow the sport at all you know exactly who is who in that equation.
We hit the opposite end of the weight spectrum for the co-main event which pits current champion, Brandon Moreno, against former champion, Deiveson Figueiredo. This will be their 3rd straight match against each other. The first ended in a draw where the second one saw the challenger (Moreno) dethrone the champion via 3rd round rear naked choke. If the first two fights were any indication, this should be a fun, action-packed title fight.
There’s some solid fights sprinkled throughout the rest of the card but this one is undeniably carried by the draw of the main event. Tune in later this week for predictions and a new segment where we try and build a bankroll after analyzing where the value lies. Card lineup can be found below:
